Summary:
- Responsible for same day PO receipts into SAP and preparing Coupa purchase orders for delivery to the appropriate location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working with the freight companies to schedule pick-ups of FTL and LTL shipments.
- Must maintain a high level of customer service by responding to other departments in a timely manner and with a positive attitude.
- Ensures that all racking and equipment are properly maintained and free of damage or any condition that is unsafe for working conditions.
- Needs to be flexible on the shift start and end times and that all daily assigned tasks are completed as necessary.
- Builds and sustains a culture of safety-first mentality through daily walkthroughs, communicating with the team the expectations and providing ideas to improve safety.
Required Skills:
- Be efficient with his/her time and proactively helping others.
- Must have PC computer skills, with intermediate level expertise in Microsoft Office package.
- Have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced and professional environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and independent projects simultaneously in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical skills, organizational, verbal, written, presentation, customer service, a motivated self-starter, good time management skills, creative problem solving, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of management is required.
Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
